I’m sorry. I know I usually write my own summary of the book. But really, how can I summarize the alphabet?
Peas of all sorts run through the alphabet in this colorful and charming picture book. Who knew a pea could be an acrobat, a quarterback, or a volunteer? Apparently Keith Baker did. This book is very cute, and once it’s finished, kids will definitely want to go back through the pages again. Like all alphabet books, it’s not really striving to teach the alphabet so much as introduce a concept alphabetically. This is a great introduction for the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Not only can kids pick from the pages, but you’d also be able to job their minds by asking them to think about other jobs and attributes that begin with each letter.
