Bio:
While taking MSLS graduate classes, working part time at a public library and part time as a barista for Starbucks, the need to read and opinionate overtook me, and the blog was born in January, 2010.

The name “Librarianista” was bestowed upon me by a Starbucks partner, and it stuck. Thank you, Aaron.

Initial posts consisted of book reviews and recommendations for my favorite Starbucks creations.  In July, 2010, I left Starbucks.  If you’ve been reading regularly, you’ve probably noticed how few mentions of coffee there have been since the summer.  Who was I kidding?  This blog has always been about books, and it always will be.
